No more protests at Jantar Mantar! The Delhi Police has denotified Jantar Mantar as a designated protest venue, with the Ramlila Ground, Burari Ground and CBD Ground in East Delhi designated as the three new sites for protests and demonstrations. The decision follows the recommendations of a Committee constituted by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). A detailed and revised Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for organising protests at the three venues will be issued separately, according to a notice issued by Delhi Police Commissioner Anurag Kumar.
